Jojo’s 2025 Christmas Cookie Boxes

Jojo’s 2025 Christmas Cookie Boxes

I said I wouldn’t be doing a whole lot of baking for the holidays this year… but here I am, after 4 days of non stop baking, with 8 different treats in my gifting tins!

Below are all the recipes I used :) Try one or two (or all!) of them and be sure to let me know what you think!

  1. CHRISTMAS CRACK:
I chose to top mine with coconut flakes - sometimes I do crushed candy cane or toffee bits! Do what ya want!
  2. DOUBLE CHOCOLATE BISCOTTI:  I loooove biscotti especially during the winter months when I’m cozied up with a cup of hot coffee or tea to dip it into. I didn’t add white chocolate chunks into the cookies but drizzled some melted chocolate overtop because I liked the look lol
  3. MATCHA CHECKERBOARD COOKIES: OK trust me - these look extra but they were surprisingly easy to make - just a few extra steps, nothing to it! I will also say that these do have a hint of green tea as you add a tablespoon of matcha so it’s a bit more of an acquired taste. But I think it’s a great addition since everything else in the tin is pure sweetness!
  4. SOFT & CHEWY SEA SALT CARAMELS: This was my first time ever making homemade caramels and let me tell you - they are a MUST. Probably my favourite in this years box and it’s not even a cookie! They’re so easy to make, you just dump everything into a pot and bring it to the correct temperature. The most tedious part is cutting and wrapping each piece.
  5. CRANBERRY BLISS BARS: Have you ever had the cranberry bliss bars from Starbucks? They only come out during the holidays. White chocolate bits, cream cheese frosting. Unreal - but pricey. Well, these are IDENTICAL to those and a fraction of the cost. You must try!!!
  6. REINDEER CHOW: We make a big batch of this every year! Here’s a reel with the recipe in the caption. It’s totally customizable so you can add/remove things as you please!
  7. CHOCOLATE PEPPERMINT BLOSSOMS: I used to make blossom cookies every year but the ones with the peanut butter cookie base and chocolate kisses, until I realized they looked like little boobs on a baking sheet. I also love that these ones look more festive and personally prefer the taste of the peppermint white chocolate kisses! Pro tip: make SURE you freeze the kisses beforehand!
  8. CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES: No lie - this is my absolute favourite chocolate chip cookie recipe. And you’re not gonna like this but it’s not from a public blog, it’s from my friend Margo’s digital cookbook (and I don’t share cookbook recipes because the authors deserve to be compensated for them!). I can’t recommend her cookbooks enough, though. I regularly make multiple meals straight from them - at least 2-3 times a month we have a supper on rotation from her! Back to the cookies, though: I simply added a handful of festive m&m’s along with the chocolate chips. The recipe makes a HUGE batch so I usually freeze half of it so I have cookie dough on hand in time of an emergency. Also don’t skip out on the flaky sea salt!!
